Wednesday's episode of Modern Family finished a strong second in the key adults 18-49 demographic and third overall in the ratings for its time slot.
"Bad Har Day", which featured guest star David Faustino (Married with Children), was watched by 10.62 million people, up by 570,000 people from last week's episode. Modern Family ranked behind Fox's American Idol and CBS's Criminal Minds in total viewers. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, Modern Family rose to second place with a 4.0/11, up from the previous episode's 3.8/10 rating.

Claire flies solo to her college reunion and runs into a professor she once dated, but when Phil shows up things get really awkward. Back at home, Jay is obsessed with winning his big bowling tournament, and Gloria is running ragged with the baby but won't admit it. Mitchell offers to take baby Joe for a while, and Cameron seizes the opportunity to use him in one of his elaborate photo shoots. However, a wig malfunction leads to unfortunate results and no one wants to be the one to face Gloria.
