Last night's episode of Modern Family finished a strong first in the crucial adults 18-49 demographic and a solid second place overall in yesterday's ratings.
"Mistery Date", which featured guest star Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Producers), was watched by 11.89 million people, down from last week's 12.43m audience. Modern Family ranked second, behind CBS's Criminal Minds, in total viewers and households. The show rose to first place in the 18-49 demo, scoring a dominant 4.6/12, down two notches from 4.8/12 last week. Modern Family was the night's #1 program among adults 18-49, 18-34 and 25-54 for the fifth straight broadcast.
