Last night's Christmas-themed episode of Modern Family, the last new episode of 2011, finished first in the key adults 18-49 demographic and second overall in the ratings.
"Express Christmas" was watched by 12.13 million people, down by around 550,000 people from the last original episode, and scored an 8.6/13 rating in households. Modern Family finished a close second behind CBS's Criminal Minds in total viewers and households. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, Modern Family rose to a resounding first place finish with a 5.0/13 rating, up from 4.5/13 on November 23rd.
