ABC renews Modern Family for a fifth season Posted May 11 2013
ABC has renewed Modern Family for a fifth season, the network's publicity team confirmed yesterday. News that the network's top-rated sitcom has been renewed is not surprising, of course, but in recent years the network has shied away from early renewals even for its most successful shows.
The network also reportedly renewed Modern Family lead-ins The Middle and The Neighbours, along with lead-out Suburgatory. ABC also issued renewals for sitcom Last Man Standing and dramas Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Once Upon a Time, Castle and Nashville.
