Wednesday's episode of Modern Family finished a strong second in the ratings for its time slot.
This week's episode, "Best Men", was watched by 10.53 million people, down very slightly from last week's 10.62m audience. In the important adults 18-49 demographic, Modern Family scored a 3.9/10 rating, down a notch from the previous episode's 4/11. Modern Family finished second, behind Fox's American Idol and ahead of CBS's Criminal Minds, in all key ratings.

Meanwhile, Gloria has trust issues with their new nanny, Claire has a rare bonding moment with Haley, and Phil helps Luke with a girl he likes.
