Last night's episode of Modern Family finished third in total viewers behind CBS drama Criminal Minds and the Fox behemoth American Idol. The show rose to second place, behind Idol, in the important adults 18-49 demographic.
"Princess Party", with guest stars Shelley Long and Matt Dillon, was watched by 10.54 million people and scored a 6.4/10 rating in households, finishing third. The show ranked second in the 18-49 demo with a 4.3/12 rating.
