Yesterday's episode of Modern Family finished second in the key adults 18-49 demo and third overall in last night's ratings.

"Planes, Train and Cars" was watched by 10.06 million people, down slightly from the last original episode's audience of 10.21m. Modern Family finished third in total viewers and households, ranking behind Fox's American Idol and CBS's Criminal Minds. In the important adults 18-49 demographic, Modern Family rose to a second place finish with a 4.1/11 rating, matching its performance on April 18.
