Episode 3.15 Ratings Posted February 16 2012
Last night's episode of Modern Family finished a solid second behind Fox reality behemoth American Idol. The show was also squeezed by the return of Survivor on CBS, pushing Modern Family to season lows.
"Aunt Mommy" was watched by 11.22 million people, down sharply from last week's audience of 12.90 million, and scored a 8.0/12 rating in households, down from 8.8/13 last week. In the important adults 18-49 demographic, Modern Family scored a 4.7/12 rating, down from last week's 5.5/14. Modern Family finished second in total viewers, households and adults 18-49. The show did however finish first in the hard-to-reach Men 18-3 demographic. Modern Family was the night's top rating scripted show.

After closing on the sale of a house to Mitch and Cam's friends, Phil and Claire take the two of them out for a celebratory dinner where they proceed to over-indulge in drinks, which leads to some over-sharing, and finally results in waking up the next morning hung over and begging the question - if you'll do anything for family, shouldn't there still be a line drawn somewhere?
