Modern Family wins Producers Guild Award

Modern Family won its second Producers Guild of America Award last week. The show took home the Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, Comedy.

The show beat competitors 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory, Glee and Parks and Recreation to win the award. This was the show's second consecutive nomination and win for the award. Speaking at the ceremony, Modern Family producer Danny Zuker joked "I have to tell you, all through the streets today there was Producer's Guild fever and it's just such a relief for it to all be over."

Modern Family's producers are Paul Corrigan, Abraham Higginbotham, Steven Levitan, Christopher Lloyd, Jeff Morton, Jeffrey Richman, Dan O’Shannon, Brad Walsh, Bill Wrubel, Danny Zuker.
