Last night's episode of Modern Family was down in the ratings yesterdays, but still managed to top the night.

"Egg Drop" was watched by 12.12 million people, down significantly from last week's 14.03m audience. The People's Choice Awards on CBS and a stronger than usual Harry's Law on NBC squeezed Modern Family in the ratings. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, Modern Family scored a 5.1/13 rating, down from last week's 5.7/14.

Modern Family finished first in its time slot and was the highest rated show of the night by all key ratings metrics.
